Ripped off in Paris

1988 to 1991 - Bristol

I escaped from Dixieland jazz and met up with this bunch - already well established when I joined. Great tunes courtesy of Dave Allcock. The band continued for a number of years, morphing into Rhythm Republic as they went. Two recording sessions in Bristol, about a year apart, both produced by the legendary Sooty.....and TV with Toyah (standing on a box).

State of the art

Somebody described this as hard rock. Bloody journalists!

Girl on a train

This was the 80s after all...

Almost there

One of the best live tunes - note sure we really got it on tape.

The right time

More 80s pop

Fine day

We did an enviro-song before it became boring! Great chorus and lovely vocals from the lad Mr Coghlan ;-)

Audio - Gigolo Town

Margarette

First track from the second session. Why didn't anybody point out U2 to us?

Love is a prisoner of war

Keith re-joined the band having travelled Africa for six months. This was his message

Gigolo town

More pop larking about

You're so self oppressive

Another Keith composition - a little more up ;-)

Perfect gentleman

Now this is serious...

Insecurity

Great live track to finish the session
